(2005,2006,2007)
By: Carlos Andres Vaquiro Rondon.

Millennium is a trilogy film based in a tree books written by Swedish, Stieg Larsson, who died before the publication of his first book (Men who hate women) and few days after he sent the third book (The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest). The whole trilogy was produced by the Company Yellow Bird, they had a bugged of approx 90 million DKK (14.5 million US dollars).

The main characters are Lisbeth Salander (Noomi Noren) and Mikael Blomkvist (Michael Nyqivist), Lisbeth Salander had been described as “new face of feminism” or “the new heroine of the XXI century” because of her personality. Her father is Alexander Zalachenko, a Russian who was granted asylum in Sweden. In her childhood, she was traumatized by the frequent abuse of his father to her mother, all this is reflected in his clothes and her common hatred of men who abuse women; she has different tattoos (the most striking tattoo is a huge dragon that crosses her back), she has piercing on all over her body (nose, navel, tongue and other), but in the second film she left it because she wanted to be unnoticed, besides, she is really intelligent and also has a photographic memory, She is known as extraordinary black hat or “cracker” (cracker is the person who breaks into computer network without authorization).

Mikael Blomkvist is a journalist, divorced and has a daughter; Erika Berger is his lover from twenty years ago. He had worked in different research about corrupt important people in Sweden, such as, neo-Nazis in Sweden and right-wings people’s relation with political and financial sectors. According to another character of the film said about Mikael "It will give the typical image of guardian of the moral, incorruptible, facing the business world. And as such quite frequently invite you to comment on various issues in television.
